Vijay started out with theater in Hyd with Sutradhar and later studied acting at FTII, Pune, and also did some corporate and short films. A short film "SHOR" was a massive hit at the festivals directed by Raj Nidimuru and Krishna DK(directors of "99", "Shor in the city") "Chittagong"- Vijay s debut film.
"Monsoon Shootout" - Vijay plays the lead in the Hindi feature film directed by Amit Kumar,(director of the short film "The Bypass" which was internationally acclaimed and won awards at London film festival and Milan film festival and showcased at Baftas) and produced by Anurag Kashyap and UK Based Yaffle Films. The film is in Post-production stage.
"Rangrez", plays one of main leads of the Hindi Feature film, directed by Pryadarshan, produced by Vashu Bhagnani s Puja Films. The film is in Post production stage.
